RT Custom Guitars have been making exceptional one-of-a-kind handmade acoustic and electric stringed instruments since 1990. 

Every instrument is built with attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship. 

Our ambition is simply to make the finest quality musical instrument available today at any price.  All our instruments are made in the USA from the finest select tonewoods. 

Our guitar and mandolin tops and backs are hand-carved and tap-tuned, the sides are bent by hand, and the finishes are hand-buffed and polished.  

We refrain from using any laminates or plastics.  All edge bindings, pickguards, tailpieces and other trim are generally made from figured hardwoods.  

Only the best hardware and finishing materials are used.  While we produce our own models, we also offer custom building and made-to-order instruments tailored toward each individual’s unique requirements, and we value close working relationships with all our customers.
